DEFENDERS Associate Art Director in Indianapolis, Indiana
Overview
The Associate Art Director will work with agencies, copy writers, and Associate Creative Director in order to create concepts for consumer digital, print, and mass marketing campaigns that engages and motivates prospects to respond.
Responsibilities
Drives the design process in order to develop and deliver designs that help exceed department and company strategy goals by determining how best to visually represent (style, tone) new concepts and layouts.
Develops a range of creative executions from a creative brief quickly and efficiently while collaborating with copy partner and/or agency to ensure that words and images work together to support all concept requests.
Presents concepts and develops creative solutions to key stakeholders.
Stays current in creative and consumer trends in order to proactively identify opportunities and best practices when executing on company creative strategy
Serves as end-user advocate during design process
Thrives in a fast-paced team and work environment – must achieve project deadlines
Adheres to all guidelines (internal and external) when creating new and/or revising existing pieces to ensure proper A/B test results
Incorporates MVT (multivariate) testing into creative designs where applicable
Work within a project management software with the Creative Team for every project to manage reviews, update project status, complete project tasks, and track changes
Leverage direct response best practices to help Marketing department reach strategic and volume goals.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelors' degree in graphic design, web design or similar field required
Skills/Background:
Fluency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
Graphic Design experience in multiple media channels
Excellent understanding of desktop and mobile UX/UI with a keen eye on what drives CTA for users.
Interaction and MVT design experience with a background in landing page development and optimization.
Direct response marketing experience strongly preferred.
Existing knowledge of UI patterns and techniques.
Experience in presentation of concepts, designs, ideas and proposals.
Experience designing for e-commerce preferred.
Minimum Years' Exerience: 5 years of design experience
