DEFENDERS Corporate Recruiter - Talent Attraction Specialist in INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana

Overview

MISSION OF THE TALENT ATTRACTION SPECIALIST: This role is responsible for recruiting and placing qualified candidates that fit DEFENDERS’ core mission and values; serving internal hiring managers through finding the ideal candidates for the needs of DEFENDERS; serving as an ambassador to DEFENDERS through the interaction with external candidates and vendors.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Facilitate the requisition approval process within DEFENDERS

  • Meet with Hiring Managers to determine needs for open positions located within DEFENDERS’ Home Office and Customer Experience Center

  • Source candidates through various channels, including but not limited to: Employee Referrals, CareerBuilder, Indeed, LinkedIn

  • Conduct career coaching and provide advice for external and internal applicants to DEFENDERS’ jobs

  • Manage and promote the recruiting for DEFENDERS’ intern program

  • Manage and promote DEFENDERS’ employee referral program

  • Work with Human Resources on the new hire onboarding process

  • Manage relationships with third party recruiting vendors

  • Track hiring data and forecasting

Qualifications

Background and Minimum Experience:

  • Education – Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Minimum 2+ years recruiting experience in a corporate or third party staffing model

  • Knowledge and experience of MS Word and Excel required

  • Ability to analyze data and track performance metrics

  • Must complete and pass a pre-employment drug/background check.
