DEFENDERS Director of Account Management in INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana
Accountable forleading the national account management team that’s responsible for achieving annual revenue and profit goals for existing business partners in DEFENDERS Marketing.
Establishes, casts, and executes vision and strategies for existing business partner growth. Engages the Chief Marketing Officer and the Vice President, Digital & Partnerships to gain commitment to and resources for those strategies
Leads national account management team to improve performance from current partners
Holds self and leaders around the Circle of Life fully accountable in order to deliver Primary or better results
Builds relationships and collaborates with business partners to create new lead generation channels
Capable of and willing to act on his/her own. Seeks responsibilities and takes action without explicit instructions. Brings the game to the Vice President, Digital & Partnerships
Manages the successful on-boarding of new partners
Serves as primary liaison to the sales team to ensure lead quality and close rates
Builds and develops a high-performing team of national account managers
Ensures growth, training, compensation, and benefit opportunities are aligned and available to all employees
Collaborates with marketing analysts and partnerships team to review results daily, identify trends, and build data-supported strategies to grow the business
Utilizes proven methods of analysis (inductive and deductive) to determine root cause of issues and identify/evaluate alternatives
Solves complex problems within and beyond his/her direct responsibility
Communicates with and engages others. Drives understanding and alignment in Partnerships, Marketing and around the Circle of Life
Expresses ideas and strategy with clarity to frontline, team, peers, and Marketing Leadership Team (MLT)
Persuades through formal and informal presentation
Background & Education:
Education: Bachelor’s degree (Marketing focused preferred).
Skills/Background: Extensive and broad knowledge of marketing fundamentals, practices, media types. Strategic planning with strong thought-leadership capability, business experience and big picture focus while driving accomplishment of company goals.
Minimum Years of Experience: 10+ year’s marketing leadership experience
