DEFENDERS Marketing Conversion Strategist in Indianapolis, Indiana

Overview

This position is responsible for developing, managing and driving strategies that improve conversion performance of DEFENDERS’ lead gen programs. This role will leverage analytics to make data-driven decisions that optimize channels across the customer journey; improving conversion rates, and eliminating unprofitable activities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional project teams including Channel Managers, Sales team, Testing Manager and Developers to plan, design, QA and execute test ideas

  • Effectively communicate test results, insights and recommendations to Marketing and Sales leaders

  • Maintain strongunderstanding of conversion points across various lead sources to identify improvement opportunities/tests and help drive business decisions

  • Provides insight to new technology tools and systems that aide our ability to increase performance

  • Work with various technology and agency partners to find opportunities and execute programs

  • Creates a culture of optimization across the organization

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to establish, document, and modify ongoing lead conversion tactics

  • Build systems to continually improve DEFENDERS’ conversion optimization approach and capabilities

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree

Skills/Background:

  • Demonstrated experience optimizing lead gen activities across various channels including outbound contact programs, paid search and display

  • Experience with test design, experiment planning

  • Proven analytical/problem solving, project management, presentation, and communication skills

  • Excellent organizational and priority management skills

  • Demonstrates ability to take ownership and responsibility of assigned tasks

  • Experience with MS Office (proficient with Excel)

  • Strong communication skills – written and verbal

Minimum Years' Experience: 5+ years' experience with digital marketing, direct response and conversion optimization
