DEFENDERS Permits Specialist in Indianapolis, Indiana
Responsible for coordinating and obtaining security system permits to ensure continued compliance for DEFENDERS installations.
Communicate with field operations teams, city officials, and customers to secure permits and help protect families.
Facilitate permits training for Field Operations and Customer Experience team members.
Organize and maintain accurate records within all CRM systems.
Create and distribute on-time and accurate reporting.
Solutions-driven problem solver.
Audit and update department SOPs to continually improve processes.
Complete special projects as assigned by the Manager of Permit.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Associates/Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Proven record of accuracy and attention to detail. Professional verbal and written communication. Competent in Microsoft Office Suite. Capable of typing 60+ WPM.
0-2 years professional experience.
Physical presence in the office during work hours for answering phone calls, obtaining permits, impromptu meetings, and access to information/data necessary for position.
Hearing and visual acuity to read text and view computer monitor for up to 8 hours per day.
Ability to juggle multiple deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
Must be able to sit without interruption for up to 2 hours. May be required to sit up to 8 hours per day.
