The Human Resource Partner is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with HR Leadership in supporting designated geographic and/or business areas. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: leadership training, performance management, employee relations, onboarding, policy implementation, and employment law compliance. This role will serve as an employee advocate and talent developer to address employee concerns in an efficient manner and will develop policies and procedures to strategically align Human Resources with the company’s overall business objectives.
Development initiatives and programs, ensuringstrong work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
Proactively collaborating with Director, Human Resources and/or Associate General Counsel, Human Resources to provide solutions in alignment with the talent development strategy for the assigned business unit.
Act as business and culture liaison between Home Office and assigned business area team members.
Develop a work environment of open, honest, and direct conversation that will instill confidence and credibility by actively engaging with the workforce.
Partner with Business Leaders and applicable Management team to thoroughly and objectively conduct investigations into complex employee relations issues and concerns.
Act as the HR policy subject matter expert for business leaders, and provide HR policy guidance and interpretation.
Maintain confidentiality and sensitivity to all issues.
Develop and maintain strong business relationships with stakeholders.
Track cases and disciplines on case management software. Analyze and look for trends in HR data to develop proactive coaching strategies and mitigate risk.
Provide feedback and suggestions to talent hiring decisions.
Partner with HR team and assigned business teams to support in Leaves/Accommodations process.
Partner with Human Resources to make recommendations to improve policies, training/talent development programs, and individual team member development needs.
Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent to work experience in progressive HR.
3+ years in progressive HR or similar field.
Up to 50% daytime and possible overnight travel required dependent upon assigned business unit needs.
Ability to talk on telephone to remote personnel and management.
Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is required.
